Red Clay Instructional Framework
We’re thrilled to kick off the year with the launch of our revamped Instructional Framework, designed to guide and inspire our work together! This framework highlights five key components that lead us to our ultimate goal, the Portrait of a Graduate:
- Create Equitable Classrooms
- Design Rigorous Lessons
- Facilitate Authentic Engagement
- Promote Academic Discourse
- Make Data-Driven Decisions
This year, both the Teaching and Learning Office and our Student Services Teams will focus on MTSS Tier 1 strategies that create equitable classrooms, facilitate authentic engagement, and promote academic discourse. These strategies are essential to building strong, inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive.
Our MTSS framework aligns seamlessly with our Instructional Framework by ensuring all students receive high-quality, evidence-based core instruction and supports. Together, they create a powerful foundation for meeting the diverse needs of all learners.
We can’t wait to dive into this work with you and share more about how these frameworks will empower both educators and students throughout the year!
