i-Ready

i-Ready

Resources for teachers using i-Ready:

  • Teachers can plan multiple sessions for students to take the diagnostic assessments. Best practice is two test sessions of 45 minutes per content area assessed. The test has built in cognitive brain breaks for students.
  • Teachers and students should access i-Ready using single sign-on in ClassLink. Rosters are uploaded to i-Ready from eSchool. If you see an error in your class roster, the error needs to be rectified in eSchool in order for it to be changed in i-Ready.
  • The Diagnostic assessment requires the students use headphones.
  • Students that rush through the assessment will be flagged. Active proctoring of students while testing greatly reduces and even eliminates this issue. Teachers can also see student progress in real time as the class completes the Diagnostic. If a teacher believes that a student needs to retest, they should contact their school administrator.
  • If you missed an i-Ready training and need to watch the recording, please contact your building's PLC lead to get the workshop recording.
