Embedding Vimeo Videos in Schoology

STEP 1: Vimeo.com (this step will need to be taken place off the State/school network)

• Locate the desired video at vimeo.com
• Click the SHARE icon (paper airplane)
• Highlight and copy the entire embed code found in the Embed box. The code will be set off with < > symbols.

STEP 2: Embedding the Video in Schoology

• Use the Insert Content tool available in the Description field toolbar when embedding Vimeo videos in folders, assignments, discussions, test/quiz, and pages.
• From the drop-down menu, select Image/Media from the left menu.
• Select From the Web tab.
• Click Media type.
• Paste the embed code into the Link/Embed: field.
• Click Insert Media button to save the video to the Schoology material.
• Note: The video will appear as a yellow box.
• Using the dots on the corners of the yellow box, size the video image as desired.
• Click Create button to save the material.
