Schoology will automatically try to display the link within an iFrame in Schoology in hopes that the website is displayed on the Schoology Course and not in a new tab. However, many websites will not be able to be displayed in Schoology and students will need to click the pop-out arrow in order to be taken to the website. Pro-tip: Teachers can change this setting so that students do not need to click the pop-out arrow and instead are automatically taken to the website when they click the link. When adding the link in Schoology, teachers should disable the icon that looks like a little piece of paper titled "Display in Schoology." Then press Add. When students click the link, a new tab will automatically open and take students directly to the website.
