Password Reset

DIRECTIONS TO RESET YOUR RED CLAY PASSWORD

These directions can be completed from any device. (Chromebook, Laptop, Phone etc)

STEP 1: Navigate to ID.Delaware.gov

STEP 2: Select "Forgot Password"

STEP 3: Enter your Red Clay email address: first.last@redclay.k12.de.us . Click the 'Next' button.

STEP 4: There are 2 options to reset your password. ***DO NOT SELECT THE EMAIL OPTION*** Next to 'Phone,' click the 'Select' button.

STEP 5: Depending on your profile settings, you may receive multiple options to receive your code. (via SMS text or Voice Call) Select the option you want to receive your code.

STEP 6: After you receive your 6-digit code, enter the code and click the 'Verify' button.

STEP 7: Enter your new password and click the 'Reset Password' button.

Password requirements:

At least 10 characters
A lowercase letter
An uppercase letter
A number
No parts of your username
Does not include your first name
Does not include your last name
Password can't be the same as your last 24 passwords
At least 1 day(s) must have elapsed since you last changed your password
