Lauren Lee is the 2023-2024 Red Clay Behavioral Health Professional of the Year

Please join us in recognizing Lauren Lee, Ed.S., BCBA, as Red Clay Consolidated School District’s 2023-24 Behavioral Health Professional of the Year.  Lauren is a School Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst who serves the First State School and Project Search programs hosted by Red Clay in collaboration with Christiana Care.  Additionally, Lauren supports Red Clay students who attend private therapeutic placements by providing psychoeducational evaluations and consultation.  

 

Lauren was described as “inspiring. She works hard to ensure that the needs of her students across her different sites are met and takes it upon herself to get additional training as needed. Lauren has excellent relationships with the staff and is a model for effective collaboration and professional relationships.”

 

The BHPOY Award recognizes outstanding service by school employees who are health care practitioners or human service providers who offer services for the purpose of improving an individual’s mental health. School employees include school counselors, school social workers, licensed clinical social workers, school psychologists, and school nurses. Eligibility includes: at least three years of experiencecertification, or licensure credential through the Department of Education and/or the Professional Regulation Board and must continue to serve in a behavioral health position for the award year.

 

Lauren will represent Red Clay in Delaware’s Behavioral Health Professional of the Year Program, where the state will choose one person annually.
