School Meal Program

There are a number of changes to the USDA School Meals program for the 2022-23 school year.

Meal Prices for 2022-23

Meal prices are as follows:

  • Elementary School Breakfast: No cost
  • Elementary School Lunch: $1.50
  • Secondary School Breakfast: $0.90
  • Secondary School Lunch: $1.75

Free or Reduced-Price Meals

If your student attends one of the Red Clay schools listed below, your student is automatically eligible to receive meals at no cost through the Community Eligibility Provision of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act. No Meal Benefit Application is required.

If your student attends one of the Red Clay schools listed below, you must complete a Meal Benefit Application in order to apply for free or reduced-price meals. Complete it online or download a PDF (English / Spanish) and return it to your school’s main office.
