Baltz Elementary School Introduces Sunday Storytime

Baltz Elementary School teachers are finding new ways to share their love of reading while also keeping families engaged in the learning process. Every Sunday, the school shares a new episode of Sunday Storytime, a video series that features different members of the school staff and the school leadership team reading one of their favorite books.

"Sunday Storytime has been such a hit with Baltz families that we decided to add upcoming events and even a mindful minute with our school counselor," said principal Amy O'Neill. "The events are a helpful reminder for busy parents, and the mindful minute is a nice way to wind down on a Sunday evening, after storytime, and make sure you get a good night's sleep and are ready for school on Monday morning."

The school staff shares a new video online each Sunday, via the Baltz Elementary School Facebook and Twitter pages, the school's website, and an email to parents. The videos are produced by fourth-grade teacher Christina Personti.

Look out for the next episode of Sunday Storytime on Baltz's Facebook and Twitter.
