View Your W-2 Online

Browser Requirements for Viewing Your W-2

Employees must use one of the following internet browsers to view W-2s:

  • Internet Explorer 9
  • Internet Explorer 10
  • Firefox 26
  • Chrome 32

 

If you cannot view your W-2 after it downloads, please see the following suggestions:

  • Some computers may be configured to block pop-ups. You will need to allow pop-ups in order for your W-2 to download.
  • The download may open a new window as a new “tab” within the internet window.
  • You may need to check your download folder by choosing “View Downloads” under the tools setting.
  • If your computer does not have Adobe Reader, you can download a free Adobe Reader.

 
 
Consent to Receive Your W-2 Online
 
Red Clay employees are encouraged to receive their W-2 forms online, not through US Mail. By receiving the forms online, you can avoid waiting for your mail, file earlier and avoid a lost W-2.
 
 
  • County codes are N for New Castle, K for Kent, S for Sussex.
  • Employees only need to consent once. If you consented to receive your W-2 online last year, you do not need to consent this year.
  • Employees that do not consent or do not receive their paper W-2 form may log into Employee Self-Service and print it. Employees may also request a duplicate from PHRST using the W-2 Processing Request Form. They may be charged a fee for the duplicate.
  • Employees must add/update their address and their email address in PHRST by the close of business on Friday, December 30, 2016, to ensure their W-2 is mailed to the correct address.
  • HR and payroll PHRST users cannot see the consent status of employees.
  • HR and payroll PHRST users cannot view or print W-2 forms for employees.

W-2 Duplication Requests

Forms and instructions for Direct Deposit and W-2 Change of Address are available on the Employee Self-Service website under Information > Forms.
  • Active employees may access their Calendar Year 2013 through 2016 W-2s from Employee Self-Service.
  • Anyone requesting a duplicate form prior to 2013 must also mail the request form along with the administrative fee.
  • Duplicates will only be mailed to the address in PHRST. If the address is incorrect in the system and the employee no longer has access to Employee Self-Service, the employee must contact their organization to have the address updated in the system.
  • All addresses must be updated within the system by the employee and/or end-user, no later than the COB on Friday, December 30, 2016, to ensure the 2016 W2 reflects the correct address on file.
