On October 12^th AVID and Stanton's Family Coordinator Present National Hispanic Heritage Month Panel Discussion:  Exploring "Life Transitions."  AVID students had the opportunity to hear from Mirian Robles (Nutrition Dept. Secretary) and Joso Somalo (Publisher/Owner at Hoy en Delaware) about any transitions they have experienced and what advice they can offer to students who may be going through a life transition.  Students were engaged and asked many good questions to learn more from the panelists.  This is Stanton's 3^rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Panel.  Topic of discussion is selected based upon what students may personally be experiencing.
