EYP Room 101 celebrated the Year of the Snake as we made snake chain necklaces and snake masks, decorated wooden snakes, learned about some local snakes (Minnie the Boa and BJ the ball python), tasted some cultural food (dumplings, rice, mandarins, long noodles, and fortune cookies), made lanterns, and paraded through our school hallways and classrooms with our class dragon dance to celebrate the Chinese Lunar Year and Lantern festival.
