Creative Curriculum Music Study

Room 19 at the Early Learning Center had so much fun studying Music Making for the month of January. We also continued our theme of all things winter including playing with snow in our sensory table, dressing a snowman and counting snowflakes as flew around the room. We see the children playing with a life size guitar using their fingers or a pic, banging the cymbals working on bilateral coordination and listening to classical music and we work on breathing techniques. We noticed our students connecting to our teaching strategies by managing feelings with music, using expanding expressive vocabulary, sharing the love of movement and making friends through a shared experience. Can't wait to see what we do next. Thank you to all the supporting staff for making our days full of fun, laughter and learning in a safe environment.
