Students at Linden Hill have been learning about the 7 Habits of Happy Kids as part of Linden Hill's Leader in Me initiative. The students have been practicing these habits in an effort to build leadership skills. Each week, the school focuses on one specific habit to learn about and practice. At the end of the week, teachers recognized students from their classrooms that exhibited that habit throughout the week. Over the course of seven weeks, students learned about the following habits:
Begin With the End in Mind
Put First Things First
Seek First to Understand, Then to Be Understood
Sharpen the Saw
All of the students who were recognized over the past seven weeks were celebrated at a Habit Hero Assembly on February 28th. Families of the Habit Heroes were invited to attend the assembly as teachers had the chance to share some of the special things our students do each day! Congratulations to all of our Habit Heroes! The next Habit Hero Assembly will be on April 11th.
