Crawford Hits 1,000 Career Points

In the midst of a stellar season for the boys' basketball team, one student-athlete has consistently shined. Senior Zha'mere Crawford has led the team to a 15-2 record (as of Monday, February 10) and knocking on the door to a potential first round bye in the upcoming state tournament.

On Monday, he hit a personal milestone, recording the 1,000th point of his illustrious career. Needing 12 to hit the mark, Crawford finished the night with 25 on the night and the Rams took care of Christiana, 63-23.

With 1,013 points, he passes Ted Boyer, who scored 1,001 in his career; with his sights set on the school record holder Kareem Ewell, who stands at 1,051. With at least four more games left in the season, he is sure to surpass that mark.
