MYP Boys' Volleyball is District Champs

The MYP boys' volleyball team won the district championship on Wednesday, May 8 in front of a energetic crowd at A.I. DuPont High School. Coming into the playoffs, the top seed had played nearly perfect volleyball, having won all of its contests except a 2-1 nail-biter against Brandywine Springs back on April 22. The championship match was an opportunity for some payback as the Rams sought to avenge its only loss of the season.

After an uneven first set, the team hit its stride. With steady play from 8th graders Dayton Dirocco-Zimath, Arshad Reid, and Keion Williams-Jackson; the Rams were able to take sets two and three and win its first championship in school history.
