Junior Abigail Bledsoe is the recipient of the Widener University High School Leadership Award, given by the Widener University and in partnership with NBC10 and Telemundo62. A press release from the school described the award program as recognizing:

"students in the region who embody the university’s commitment to develop and inspire leaders to affect positive change. With this award, your school and the Widener University HSLA Committee recognize your leadership abilities, your courage in standing up for what is right and your efforts to make a difference in your school and community."  

Along with the award, which she will receive at a banquet on March 20, she is offered a scholarhip of 20K per year for four years if she chooses to enroll at Widener.
