Cicconi Retires?
Longtime Science teacher Sonja Cicconi has called it a career...or has she? She has been a daily attendee in the library as she finishes out her 30 years of public service. In fact, though her official retirement date comes this week, she will continue to serve as subsititute librarian and media specialist until the return of John Melidosian, and as a building sub for the foreseeable future.
First arriving at Dickinson in the spring of 1988 as a student teacher, Cicconi taught four years at St. Mark's before joining the Dickinson staff in 1993. She's been here ever since and has effectively taught thousands of young, impressionable minds.
Though she walks away from her teaching gig, she will continue to be part of the Ramily for years to come.
