December 16 Town Hall: Proposed Cell Tower on Dickinson Campus

December 16 Town Hall: Proposed Cell Phone Tower at The John Dickinson School

Milestone Communications and AT&T have filed a Site Plan Application with New Castle County to erect a wireless telecommunications facility on the campus of The John Dickinson School. The proposal is for a 132-foot stealth tree pole and ground equipment located at the base of the structure in a secure fenced area. AT&T will be the first wireless carrier to locate on the proposed tower.

As the property owner, the district supports the application, recognizing the need for upgraded cell phone service on and around The John Dickinson School campus.

As a next step, Milestone Communications and AT&T will hold a virtual town hall meeting on Thursday, December 16, at 6:00 PM via Zoom to provide more information about the proposed project. We encourage staff, students, families, residents and other members of The John Dickinson School community to attend the town hall meeting to learn about the proposal and to ask any questions you may have.
