🩸 AIHS Blood Drive Success! 🩸

On November 8, 2023, Alexis I. duPont High School proudly collaborated with the Delmarva Blood Bank for a life-saving event that had a lasting impact. The school community came together to host a remarkable Blood Drive at AIHS, where compassion and generosity flowed as freely as the donated blood.

Our dedicated team of over 20 student volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the event's success, creating a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants. The collective efforts resulted in an astounding total of 30 units of blood donated!

What makes this event even more extraordinary is the incredible commitment of our student body. Five courageous students not only contributed to the cause but went above and beyond by donating DOUBLE units of blood, showcasing the spirit of selflessness and empathy that defines the AIHS community.

Thanks to the collaboration between Alexis I. duPont High School and the Delmarva Blood Bank, this Blood Drive stands as a testament to the power of unity and compassion within our school. Every drop donated represents a life potentially saved, and we are immensely proud of everyone who participated in this life-affirming event.
