Red Clay is home to two award-winning charter schools, The Charter School of Wilmington and Delaware Military Academy.

As the authorizer of these schools, Red Clay is responsible for approving and renewing each school's charter application. As part of the renewal process, we conduct ongoing accountability reviews and hold public hearings.
