Mrs. Christina Dale Varady is the recipient of the 2024-2025 Baltz Teacher of the Year Award!

Mrs. Varady remembers the teachers that made a profound impact on her love of learning. That is what made her goal as an educator to be similar by positively impacting her students in the same memorable way.

Mrs. Varady is a First Grade Teacher here at Baltz Elementary School. She teaches multiple subjects including math, English language arts, science, and social studies but her favorite subject to teach is Math. 

She has participated as a  proud member of multiple school-wide leadership teams and loves to participate in Baltz Community events such as the annual Breakfast with Santa event.

Mrs. Varady’s pedagogical priorities include the importance of building a strong foundation of community in the classroom and with families. She consistently reflects on her teaching practices and uses strategies to support each of her students. 

As recited daily in our Baltz Beliefs Mrs. Varady believes the following words are true for her students and for her as an educator -  “Every day brings new opportunities for me to learn and grow.” She looks forward to learning opportunities every day to  support  each of her students academically, socially, emotionally, and behaviorally.
