Dr. Kirsten Belair
Dr. Kirsten Belair was born and raised in Delaware. After graduating from Padua Academy, she earned a Track and Field scholarship to Seton Hall University. Belair graduated from Seton Hall with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English with a minor in Business. She also earned a Master of Elementary Education Degree and a Doctorate Degree in Educational Leadership from Wilmington University.
Dr. Belair started her career in education over 17 years ago. It began in the Pennsville (NJ) School District. She was a 2nd and 4th grade teacher at Valley Park Elementary School. Dr. Belair continued her career at Odyssey Charter School, where she was an Elementary School Teacher, Reading Specialist, Instructional Coach, and a Student and Staff Development Specialist. In 2018, Belair joined the Red Clay Consolidated School District as a 7th grade ELA teacher at H.B. du Pont Middle School. She was also an administrative intern and a member of the Red Clay Aspiring Leadership Academy. Dr. Belair became Mote’s Assistant Principal in October of 2021.
Belair enjoys spending time with her husband Mark and her two sons, Jacob and Jonathan. Dr. Belair also loves the beach, running, and going to the gym. She is excited to work with Mote’s faculty and families to help all students reach their full potential by providing a safe learning environment and strong instruction.
