Driver Education

  • Our Driver Education course provides the classroom instruction and on-the-road instruction required to qualify for a State of Delaware driver's license.

  • Eligibility

    Per state law, students between the ages of 15 years, 10 months old and less than 18 years old must have the written consent of a parent/guardian, must show evidence of five high school credits earned (with at least two credits in core subjects), and must be academically eligible.

    Schedule

    There are 15 sessions (30 classroom hours total). On-the-road instruction is generally offered on evenings and weekends. Classes will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 PM to 6 PM, via Zoom. The final exam will be held in person.

    Attendance

    Students must attend all classes to receive credit for the course. There are no excused absences.
