Our school counselors only monitor their email during operating school hours (7:50am – 3:20pm). If school is closed to students (after school hours, weekends, holidays) their email will not be monitored. School Counseling Mission Statement
The mission of AI Middle School’s counseling program is to collaborate with community members, teachers, staff, and administrators to facilitate a school environment that decreases barriers to academic achievement, social emotional growth, and career readiness by teaching a growth mindset that encourages problem solving and a lifelong learner mindset. Through curriculum, programs, and targeted interventions AI Middle School’s counseling program seeks to provide an environment where every student feels like a valued member of the community.
School Counseling Vision Statement
The vision of the AI Middle School counseling program is to provide a comprehensive developmental counseling program that engages school and community collaboration to help student reach their academic, social emotional, and career goals in high school and beyond. Through the AIMS counseling program students will acquire the necessary academic, social-emotional, and career skills that will allow them to reach their full potential as respectful, kind, responsible, and engaged community members. AIMS students will graduate ready to engage in the necessary work of high school and beyond.
