Welcome to an exciting year with Red Clay schools!

It is an honor and privilege to serve as Superintendent of our outstanding school district, and as a proud Red Clay parent and community member.

It is an exciting time in Red Clay, and we have much to look forward to as we begin what is sure to be our best year yet. This year, we welcome over 16,000 students through our doors as Delaware’s largest public school system. We are also thrilled to welcome over 100 new teachers, who recently joined the Red Clay family, bringing fresh ideas for engaging learners of all backgrounds and abilities.

We will reach more children than ever before, with the Red Clay Early Years Program serving pre-k students across seven sites, including our new Early Learning Center opening this fall.

We will continue to lead the way in innovation and future-readiness, with new high school pathways, work-study opportunities, and certification programs tied to in-demand careers and 21^st-century skills.

Across all of our schools, we will embrace our rich diversity and empower diversity champions to help break down barriers and promote equity and inclusivity. Our district operations and support services will introduce several improvements to help our schools focus on doing what they do best – ensuring student success.
