Supervisor of Accounting
Deborah has been with Red Clay since 2005 and in her current role as Supervisor of Accounting since 2007. A graduate of Goldey Beacom College, she holds both an MBA and Masters of Science in Management. Professionally, she is a member of DASA (Delaware Association of School Administrators). Her previous work experience includes 16 years at New Castle County Vo-Tech School District giving her a total of 26 years’ experience in State of Delaware school finance and payroll.
Deborah loves that her role as Supervisor of Accounting allows her to wear many different hats as she assists principals and program managers with their budgets, monitors federal funds expenditures, trains new staff on the state financial system and supervises six great team members who process payments for every district expenditure.
Deborah and her husband are graduates of Red Clay schools and have been residents of the district for over 30 years with both of their children attending Red Clay schools (Heritage, Linden Hill, Warner, Skyline and McKean). Deborah is a member of the Executive Women’s Golf Association of Delaware.
