The mission of the RCEF is to provide additional educational experiences

so our students are better prepared to succeed in the rapidly changing global economy.

Accomplishing the mission will include developing financial and supportive resources for exemplary programs and projects outside of the regular school budget; advancing partnerships within the local, business, and academic communities in support of program development; and creating awareness in our community about the accomplishments of Red Clay Consolidated School District students and teachers.

The Foundation is empowered to: 

• Make grants to support transformational educational programs
• Offer targeted scholarships and independent study awards to students and teachers of the District
• Provide direction for charitable contributions made by private organizations and individuals

Businesses and individuals can make endowments or donations to the Foundation for general purposes or unique programs identified by the RCEF.

The Foundation will set priorities to support the development of new skill sets required in the emerging global economy. Our initial priorities will include funding for science and math activities with a special focus on bio-science and health care technologies.
