UPDATE! Mr. Jaret Lyons shared his latest experience from his #missionpossible quest to volunteer at 52 organizations in 52 weeks. On Friday, April 2nd, Mr. Lyons along with his son Brandon volunteered with Children & Families First (CFFDE), a Delaware-based organization under the Community Schools program and took the trip to Shortlidge Academy. His mission was to clean out the school's flower beds in honor of Mr. Wayne Corbin, a beloved community member and prepare the garden for our spring and summer planting. THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT! • I Can Do 26.2

“I can do 26.2,” is a six-weeks running program for children ages 4-12. The program teaches children that being healthy, active, and having fun go hand-in-hand. Through this running program, we help our children understand that with effort anything is achievable, including running a marathon, in six weeks. Our running program helps children develop coping skills and embrace resiliency while learning key concepts that enforce the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
