A Spring Break Message from Superintendent Green
Thank you to the RCCSD community for all you do on behalf of our students, staff, and families. To our school leaders, teachers, and educators may you have a wonderful Spring Break! It is my hope that you get time to rest, relax and recharge, as we head into the home stretch of the 2018-2019 school year. We have a lot to be proud of as a district and so much more to look forward to as we head into the awards, recognition and graduation season. Our student-athletes remain actively engaged in competitions, our schools have a variety of end of the year activities planned and teaching/learning must continue.
To our Red Clay students, please know that we want you to remain safe over Spring break. Make smart choices on how you use your time over break and consider the company you keep. Take a moment to reflect and come back with a goal of finishing strong. Stay engaged in your learning, enjoy the time off with your family, and try your best to limit the use of video games and social media. Be mindful that followers, streaks, and likes don’t define you!
To our support and operations staff that will continue to work hard over the break, thank you for all that you do to keep our schools running in a safe and orderly manner.
It has been a wonderful start to my tenure as your Superintendent and I look forward to our bright future together!
May you have a wonderful Spring Break!
