  • Annual Red Clay Family & Community Fair -November 2, 2019

    Red Clay’s Family Fair, will be held at John Dickinson High School, 1801 Milltown Rd., Wilmington, DE. The fair, hosted by the Red Clay Parent Advisory Council (RCPAC) and Title 1 will take place from 10:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. in the school auxiliary gymnasium and cafeteria. No registration is needed for this free, fun-filled family event for students, their families and the community

  • My Very Own Library - MAY BOOK FAIR

    Thanks to United Way of Delaware for sponsoring our book fair for the last Four Years!! Students WILL receive books for FREE with no money exchange.   • PATHS Model School

    All About PATHS – Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies. Shortlidge Academy became the one of the first in state of Delaware to receive such an honor. KN -  Mad : The students will define the feeling "mad" and learn the facial expressions that go with the feeling.   1st grade will be starting lesson 16. Topics are: fine, excited and tired and lesson 17 -scared or afraid and safe.   2nd grade will be introduced to the concepts of SCARED or AFRAID and SAFE.

  • Welcome to Class Dojo!

    ClassDojo is a classroom communication app used to share reports between parents and teachers. Teachers track student behavior and upload photos or videos. The gamification style system teaches developmental skills through real-time feedback.

  • Beyond Those Bars - Cultural Resoration Project Inc.

    Working with Beyond the Bars allowed us merge student success stories built around ATTENDANCE MATTERS. The project design supported students from K through 2nd grades and stressed the importance of good grades and coming to school on time ready to learn. Special thanks to Mr. Richard Raw and his wife, AliSah Watson from the Cultural Restoration Project for supporting our vision.
