  • HB du Pont's Empty Bowls Program

    Students, their parents and faculty members gathered at the school on Friday evening to share a simple meal of soup, bread, water and dessert and gain a better understanding of what it's like for families to have to find nourishment from a soup kitchen.

  • Family Resource Fair November 3

    No registration is needed for this free, fun-filled family event for students, their families and the community. There will be refreshments, giveaways and demonstrations. The presence of close to 100 vendors will provide opportunities to gather information and learn about strategies that improve student achievement and contribute to a healthy lifestyle.

  • Hispanic Heritage Museum

    Students in Dr. Heather Townsend’s fourth grade class, Nicole Igo-Perez’s sixth grade class and Irene Hairston’s art class created a Hispanic Heritage Museum to raise cultural awareness of the many contributions Hispanics have made to our society.
